Initiatives and Dreaming Dragons
We convened on a tense morning following a terror attack for a Lab Day at the Young Adult Center in Lod – the Station. The Center that serves the city’s young adults is located in an old building dating from the Ottoman period. It was built at the turn of the century and served as one of the first train stations in the country. Through here trains ran also to Damascus and Cairo.
It was a busy day, some say too busy…
Check-in, an especially empowering and touching personal spiritual biography, and some ‘star dust’ that exposed an inspiring professional and volunteering world. Also – initiatives and what they are composed of, dreaming dragons, and a first encounter with English in preparation for the trip to New York, to assure ourselves that it is absolutely possible and to begin practicing the language a moment before the expected lessons.
